- Aerodynamics& principles of flight
- Weight, balance and density altitude calculations.
- Use of performance charts & effects
of exceeding limitations
- Night & high altitude operations
- Meteorology
- Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM) & the National
Airspace System (NAS)

The Commercial Pilot Course builds upon the knowledge you received in your private pilot training. It also introduces
the privileges and limitations set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration for commercial pilots. The course consists of
2 parts which build upon knowledge received in private pilot training. Additional category and class ratings are available, please
contact us with any questions.
Prerequisites: The student must hold a valid Private Pilot Certificate and a current 3rd class
medical prior to beginning flight training.
Aircraft: All US Aviation Academy airplanes can be used for this certificate to meet
the required total time. The Ce, PA-34-200 Piper Seneca, is used to meet the required complex aircraft flight time.
